Unless your business is Amazon.com and you're selling a zillion products online there is no reason at all anyone should be charging thousands of dollars to create a web site for you.
This is the whole reason I started Top Shelf Web Designs & Hosting, to help other small business's take their business to another level as well, without having to go into debt or take out a loan to get there!
I assume by now that you realize, regardless of the product or service you sell, a presence on the internet is a "must have", especially in these challenging economic times.
I ask my clients to consider their website an expansion of their businesses.
Not only will your website expand your market by making your product or service available to customers that otherwise would never have heard of you, it is the least expensive form of advertising a business person will ever have available to him with the potential of such an enormous return.
Through my design business I am able to take the knowledge and skills that I have acquired over the past several years developing my own websites and websites for friends, and offer my services to other small business owners whom just like myself thought that a significant web presence wasn't affordable.
